How do I place my order online?

It's quite simple actually.

1. Browse through the store until you find the item you wish to purchase.

2. From the product page click the “Buy Now” button. You will be transferred to our secure ordering page were you can:

      (A) Enter your name and address.

      (B) Enter your credit card information.

      (C) or ‘Keep Shopping to add additional items to your cart and keep shopping.

3. Once you've added all the items that you wish to purchase to your cart, you can begin the checkout process. This process involves 2 steps; Review & Confirmation. You will then receive an order confirmation email. When your order has been shipped. You will receive a final email confirmation stating your order has been mailed.

What kind of fabrics do you use in your kits?

We use 100% quilt quality cotton fabrics. We buy from many suppliers and use many different manufactures. When we get our fabric order in, if the fabric is not up to our high standard, we just wont use it in your kits. We want your quilt to last for many years like we want our quilts to last. All of the fabrics used in our quilt kits are cut right from the bolt.

Are the images accurate and to scale?

We take pride in all of the images of all the products on our site. Color and scale are very important to us as is portraying the images. However not all computer monitors will show the true color, so please do read the description. We do try to also give a good color description as well as a good photo image of all products.

Why do your listings say Approximate Finished Size.

All of our kits are meticulously cut. Our instructions are based on using a ¼” seam allowance when sewing your blocks together. But we realize that not all sewing machines sew an exact ¼”. Not all presser feet are the same. So we say approximate. If you can sew an exact ¼” seam allowance, then your blocks will be the finished size as stated. But being off a scant, is OK also.

Do you sell fabric by the yard?

Since we specialize in precut quilt kits we don’t have regular fabric listings. If you would like fabric for borders for your quilt just send us an email and we will check to see if we have the fabric available for purchase. Do you have a physical store?

QuiltKitShop.com is an Internet quilt shop that strictly ships orders from our warehouse. Although we love your business we are not set up to handle walk in traffic. We do not have a traditional brick and mortar store. I am sorry to have to disappoint my customers that wish to walk into a store. Quilt Kit Shop is strictly e-Commerce.

Do you have a catalog you mail out?

Since our inventory changes so much so fast, and we are constantly adding new items, it would be impossible to update in print form. Although we do not have a printed catalog we feel our online store is our virtual catalog. What you see in our online shop is what we have on hand at that time. All of our inventory is listed with description, picture and price. Everything you need to know is right there at your fingertips.

After I place my order, how long will it take to arrive?

As soon as your order is placed we do everything possible to have your order processed, packaged, and shipped as quickly as possible. Most orders are shipped next business day of payment received. Not including weekends and holidays. Since we cannot predict how long postal service will take. We can only go by what the Postal Service estimates are. We use First Class and Priority mail. First Class mail usually take between 3-5 days to most locations. Priority mail is 2-3 days to most locations.

What happens if an item I ordered is found to be out of stock?

If an item you ordered is out of stock for whatever reason, we will deduct the amount of the out of stock item from the total and adjust the shipping charge if applicable.

Yes, orders can be cancelled. If the order has been shipped. But due to our commitment to process all of our orders quickly, not all orders will be able to be cancelled if you change your mind once the order has been made.
